Jeff focuses his practice in real estate disputes, hemp farmer and processor representation and family law matters in Northwest Wisconsin. Jeff’s has a solution-oriented approach to representing clients. He regularly obtains positive results both in and out of court for his litigation clients.
Jeff joined Bakke Norman after serving as General Counsel for the St. Croix Chippewa Indians of Wisconsin. Jeff’s case, St. Croix Chippewa Indians of Wisconsin v. Schimel, was instrumental in Wisconsin’s recognition of exclusive tribal civil jurisdiction over on-reservation activity regarding the growth and cultivation of hemp. He has national experience in the hemp industry and focuses that experience in Wisconsin to assist clients in all aspects of the industry.
